Imara. Iliyoundwa Hapa.
Imara Labs builds web and mobile applications for the Tanzanian market — from production-ready tools to prototypes to ideas we are thinking through in the open. Imara means strength in Kiswahili. That is the standard we hold ourselves to.
Kazi halisi. Kwa watu halisi.
Imara Labs is a Tanzanian software studio building digital tools for real problems faced by people in Tanzania. We are not a consultancy. We are builders — working in the open, sharing progress honestly, from concept to production.
Every product we build carries a Swahili name rooted in what it does. Duka means shop. Soma means study. Qurani means the Quran. Names are earned, not invented.
From fully shipped apps to rough ideas in the notebook. We show everything, name the status honestly, and build in the open.
Fully tested. On app stores. Supported.

On the board. No code yet. Feedback welcome.
Have a product idea for the Tanzanian market? Want to contribute, partner, or just follow along — drop your email and we'll be in touch when something worth sharing ships.
We send updates when something actually ships or changes — not weekly noise.
